Navratna Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Trimbakeshwar in Nashik. We have a small shop, number 1, at Gat No. 15/4, H No. 442. This part of Maharashtra is known for its farming, but that doesn't mean it is easy for the small guys. We got together because we saw that big buyers were always getting the better deal while we struggled. As a producer company, we can pool our resources together. It is much better than trying to handle every single problem on your own. We aren't using some fancy business model. It is just local farmers from the Trimbakeshwar area working together. Sometimes we meet at the shop to discuss seeds or what to plant next season. Nashik has good soil, but the market can be tricky to navigate. We try to figure out the best timing for our harvests. It’s hard work, and the sun is hot, but we are used to it. The company name sounds official, but we are just the same people you see in the fields every morning. We don't have a lot of corporate rules. If someone has a problem with their crop, we talk about it and see if the group can help. It's about making sure we don't lose our shirts at the end of the year. It's practical and honest work for all of us involved here in the village.
