Mosam Bhumiputra Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out in Rajpurpande at Gat No.167/1. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when we are all gathered there to sort through things. The name Mosam means a lot to us because everything we do depends on the weather and the seasons. Being Bhumiputras, or sons of the soil, is just who we are. We grew up around here, knowing which fields get the best water and which ones struggle when the heat gets too high. Our place at 423204 is where the work happens. It’s not some polished corporate office with glass walls. It’s mostly just us sitting around, maybe on some old chairs or just standing in the yard, talking about the crops. We spend a lot of time dealing with the daily stuff that comes with farming. One day it’s a tractor that won’t start, and the next it’s trying to figure out where to send the harvest. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to make it a bit easier for the farmers in Rajpurpande to get a fair shake. The roads out here can get pretty muddy when the monsoon hits, but we still manage to get together. There’s always work to be done, whether it’s planting or harvesting or just fixing a fence. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. That is our life every single day.
