Nashik has a specific rhythm, especially when you are looking at how the weather affects everything we do with crops. We have been here at Geeta Villa on Dindori Road for a while now. The office is at Row House No 2 in Geeta Nagar, which isn't a big corporate building or anything fancy. It is just a regular place where we get our work done every day. Most mornings start with a bit of a rush with people coming in and out to check on things. We spend a lot of time talking about the local soil and what the farmers around here are dealing with lately. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets loud but we are used to it by now. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work we do at Monsoon Cropscience actually helps someone down the line. It is mostly just us sitting around a couple of desks looking at data and trying to make sense of the season. Sometimes we have tea and just talk about how the weather is changing. The villa is a quiet enough spot most of the time. It feels more like a home than a workplace which is how we like it. We know the neighbors and they know us. It is a simple setup for seeds and crop science but in a very hands-on way. Nothing too complicated, just trying to keep things moving along.
