Mokshaganga Farmer Producer Companylimited is based in Satana, which is a part of Nashik that really knows its agriculture. We are located at Madhukar Chaitram Sawant’s place in the Sanmitra Housing Society. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood most of the time, which is good for getting things organized. We are just local people who decided to team up. Being a farmer-producer company means we spend a lot of time thinking about what the ground is doing and what the weather has in store for us. Madhukar’s house serves as our main meeting point. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign out front. You just walk in and find us sitting around talking. We talk to the guys in the fields and try to help them get their produce out to where it needs to be. Nashik has its own way of doing things, and we stick to that. It’s not always easy, and there are days when the paperwork feels like it’s too much for us, but it’s important. We know the struggles of the small farmer because we are those people too.
