Mata Anusaya Agro Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers here in the Niphad area of Nashik. Our spot is at Shivdi. It’s mostly about working together on the land. Farming isn't easy these days, so a bunch of us got together to form this company. We deal with what we grow right from the fields. Usually, you’ll find some of us out in the dirt or sitting around the office at G.N. 443/2 discussing the next crop. It’s just how things go in a rural place like this. We try to help each other out with seeds or figuring out where to sell the produce. Sometimes the rain is too much, sometimes it’s not enough. That's life for a producer company in this part of Maharashtra. We aren't a big fancy office with suits. Most of the time we’re wearing our work clothes and just trying to make sure the harvest gets where it needs to go. If you come by Niphad and ask for the Shivdi area, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a busy place during harvest time. We mostly talk about grapes or onions depending on the season since that’s what folks do here. It's a lot of physical work and keeping track of paperwork which none of us really likes, but it has to be done. We just want to keep the farms running and make sure the families here are doing okay. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy every single day.
