Malharshree Farmers Producer Company is a group of us working together out in the Nasik district. Our main place of operation is at Gat Number 626 in Chandanpuri, which is part of Malegaon Taluka. Being a farmers producer company means we are really just a bunch of local folks trying to get a better handle on how we sell what we grow. It’s hard to do things alone so we formed this company to help out. Chandanpuri is a quiet place mostly, but we stay busy with the farm work and the business side of things. We aren't professionals in suits; we are people who know the soil and the crops in Malegaon. The address at G No. 626 is where we meet up and talk about what needs to be done next. Nasik has good land but you still have to work it every single day. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things for us. This is just a basic company run by people who live here. We deal with the harvests and the storage and trying to find the right buyers. Sometimes it’s stressful when the rain doesn't come or when the prices drop at the market. But being part of Malharshree helps us stay together. We just keep working the land and managing the company from our little spot in Chandanpuri. It’s simple work but it’s what we know.
