Mahantraj Farmers Producer Company Limited operates out of Flat No 6 at Swapnvihar in Yaswant Nagar. It's in the Sinner area of Nashik, which is a good spot for what we do. We aren't in a big warehouse or a fancy glass building. It’s just a regular space where we handle the paperwork and meetings for the farming group. We started this because we wanted a way to organize ourselves better as farmers. Nashik is known for its agriculture, so there’s always a lot going on around here. We spend a lot of time on our phones or out in the fields near Sinner. It can be a bit chaotic sometimes, trying to keep track of everyone's harvest and where everything is supposed to go. We don't have a lot of help, so we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves. The work is steady but it's not always pretty. Sometimes we're dealing with paperwork until late at night, and other times we're out before the sun comes up. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually gets noticed and paid for correctly. We’ve all lived around Nashik for a while, so we know the people and the way the market moves. It’s just a group of us trying to make a living and keep the farms running like they should. Nothing more to it than that. We just take it one harvest at a time.
