Sunrise Exports

Our spot is right on Station Road in Lasalgaon. If you've ever been here, you know it's a major hub for the trade, especially with the railway station being so close. It gets very busy with trucks and tractors moving around constantly. We mainly handle exports, dealing with the local produce that this region is known for. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a simple building where we do our sorting and handle the daily business of buying and selling for the international market. There’s always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of horns outside, but that’s just Station Road for you. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's mostly just family and a few workers who have been with us forever. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in before we pack it up. It’s a lot of physical work and also a lot of talking to people. We don't use fancy technology for everything; a lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way with handshakes and paper ledgers. We've been here for years and we've seen the market go up and down. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving. It’s a loud, busy place but it’s where the work gets done. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else but right here.
