Pooja Traders

Pooja Traders is right on the Mumbai Agra Road. We are based in Pandav Sankul in Pimpalgaon Basawant. Being on such a major highway means we see a lot of people passing through. Our focus is on trading, mostly things related to the local agriculture around here. Nashik is famous for its produce, and we are right in the heart of that. The office is pretty basic. We have some chairs for visitors and a desk that’s usually covered in receipts. It can get very dusty because of the highway traffic, so we are always cleaning the windows. It’s a practical spot for us because the farmers can easily bring their goods or we can send stuff out towards Mumbai or up north. We don't do much in terms of fancy branding. Most of our customers are locals or regulars who have known us for years. We just keep track of the seasonal crops and the market rates. It’s a simple life but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the noise from the trucks is so loud we have to shout over the phone. We don't mind it much. It’s just how things are on the Agra Road. We are just here to do honest trade and help the local economy move along. It is a busy environment but we have gotten into a good rhythm over the years. We take things as they come.
