Started the business on Tank Road quite some time back. Being near Oxford High School means there is always noise during the day. It’s a busy spot in Mandu West. Plot No. 12 is where we do everything. Some days are just about cleaning the machines and checking the inventory. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. It is just a workspace where food products get sorted and packed. Most of the people working here live in the nearby lanes. When the school bell rings, we know it is almost time to wrap up some of the morning tasks. The weather gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. If you walk down Tank Road, you will see our sign. It isn't very big. We handle a variety of items, mostly dry stuff that people use in their kitchens every day. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic near the school gate, but we manage. It’s just how things go around here. We don’t spend much time on the computer, mostly we are on our feet. The floors are concrete and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Every bag of food that goes out is something we handled ourselves. It is just us and a few helpers making sure things are done right before the sun sets.
