Krushivikas Sahyadri Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over here in Posttisgaon, right in Malegaon. If you know the area at all, you probably know Rajendra Digambar Jadhav’s place. That is where we set up Krushivikas Sahyadri Farmers Producer Company Limited. It is not a fancy office or anything like that, just a spot where a few of us farmers get together to figure things out. Nashik can get pretty hot during the summer, and the soil here has its own way of doing things, so we spend a lot of time just talking about what is growing and what is not. Mostly we are out in the fields, but when paperwork needs doing, we head back to the house. It is a group effort, really. We started this because doing things alone as a farmer is getting harder every year. Having a registered name like this helps when we need to buy supplies or sell what we grow. People around here know us as neighbors first. We do not have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually pays off for everyone involved. It has been a lot of learning as we go. Some days are just about fixing tools or checking the water lines. We kept the name simple because it is about the Sahyadri region and our local crops. If you are ever passing through Tal Malegaon, you will see how it is. It is just us working the land.
