Out here at G. No. 290 in Patoda, we run Krushi Sampada Farmers Producer Company Limited. Nashik is a big area for farming, and we are right in the middle of it. Our spot is pretty quiet, just a regular place where we handle the business of being a farmers' producer group. We spend most mornings dealing with whatever crops are coming in. It’s a lot of talking to neighbors and sorting through paperwork. Being in the 423401 area means we see a lot of the local traffic. It’s not a shiny office. Mostly, we have some tables, some chairs, and a lot of boots near the door. The work is steady. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Just some of us making sure the collective side of farming actually works for everyone involved. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but that's just life in Maharashtra. Nashik has its own pace. We follow that. We don't try to be something we aren't. If you come by Patoda, you'll see us working. We help manage what the farmers grow. It’s practical stuff. There are always things to fix or schedules to move around. We started this because it needed doing. No fancy mission statements here. Just making sure the produce moves and people get what they need. We've been at this for a bit now. It’s just us doing the work in our small village corner.
