Koalai Devi Agro

The place we have here is split between 37 and 26 A in the Industrial Estate. Being on Mamta Nagar Road means there are always trucks moving around and the sound of machinery from the other units. Koalai Devi Agro has been running from these two spots for some time now. It’s not a very quiet area, but we like the energy of the industrial estate. One shed is mostly for storage and the other is where we handle the main tasks. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you; you just walk in and find one of us. Usually, someone is busy moving bags or checking the equipment. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things when you know every corner of the shop. The floor gets a bit dirty with the work we do, but that’s just how it is in an agro-based business. We eat our lunch together in the small office area when we find a gap in the schedule. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We try to keep the paperwork in order, but sometimes the files pile up when we are short-handed. It’s a practical way of living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the road and the noise from the neighbors. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving, but we do our best every day.
