Our office is located on Mahadeo Math Road in the Jagzap Malaojhar area of Nashik. We go by the name Kmsp Farmers Producer Company Limited. Nashik is a big hub for agriculture, but being a small farmer in the middle of it all can be overwhelming. We put this company together so we wouldn't be ignored. We are right there at G.No 317 if you ever need to find us. It’s not a shiny building; it’s just where we keep our tools and do our bookkeeping. The people involved are all local farmers who have spent their whole lives working in the sun. We grow various things depending on what the season is doing. We try to coordinate so we aren't all trying to sell the same thing at the exact same time and driving the price down. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. Sometimes we just sit on the porch and talk about whose field is doing the best. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get through the year with a bit of profit so we can do it all again next year. It’s a tough life, but we like being our own bosses. Working together through Kmsp makes that possible. We are just regular people doing what our families have done for years. There is plenty of work to do, so we stay busy.
