Now, we use this company to pool our resources. It's nothing fancy, just a group of neighbors who trust each other. We spend most of our time out in the fields, not sitting in a chair behind a desk. If someone needs a hand with their crop, we show up. The paperwork is mostly handled at the house in Sindhi Kalegaon. It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes, especially with all the rules, but we manage. We aren't experts at marketing or anything like that. We just know how to grow things and how to look after the land. Our goal is just to stay afloat and make sure our families are taken care of. Life in the village is quiet until harvest time, then it's all hands on deck. We are just simple people doing what we’ve always done, just now we have a name on a piece of paper to make it official. It's about the community here and keeping our traditions alive while trying to survive the modern market. We just do our best every single day.
