K2C Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is over in Dhakambe, out in the Dindori area of Nashik. Manohar Ramesh Bodake is the one who helps manage things from his place. It’s a quiet village and we like it that way. We call ourselves K2C Farmers. It’s mostly just a bunch of neighbors who realized we should be selling our stuff together instead of separately. Dindori is known for its grapes and other crops, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. If you’re looking for us, you just ask for Manohar’s house in Dhakambe. We spend our days out in the fields and then come together in the evenings to sort out the paperwork. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes it feels like the paperwork is harder than the farming. We aren't corporate people. We wear our work clothes to our meetings. We just want to do right by our families and the land. There’s a lot of talk about how farming should be done, but we just stick to what we know works for our soil. We are just a small local company trying to get by. We don't have any big secrets. We just work hard and hope the market stays steady. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours. We all look out for one another when someone has a bad crop year.
