Our office in Nasik is located over in Gaikwad Mala, inside the Jijamata Apartments. If you are coming down Nashik Road, you basically just look for the Drumvarna Ganpati Mandir because we are right opposite that. It is a bit of a residential area, so it stays fairly quiet except during the festival times when the temple gets very busy. We are in Flat No. 4, which belonged to Jijabia Gaikwad. It’s a standard apartment setup turned into a workspace. It’s not the kind of place with a big glowing sign out front. Most people who come to see us are regular contacts who already know the way. We share the building with families, so we try to keep the noise down and not block the stairs. The parking can be a bit tight on the road, but usually, there is a spot if you look around. We have been in this specific flat for a while now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few filing cabinets, and a kettle for tea. We don’t do fancy meetings or anything. Most of our work is done on the phone or on the computer anyway. Nashik can get quite cool in the winter, which is nice, but the summers are getting hotter every year. We just keep the windows open when the breeze is right. It’s a practical place to work from.
