Indigenous Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of House No 266/1 in Kone, which is in the Trimbak area. We are just a small group of local growers. Most of us grew up here and have been working the soil since we were kids. It’s not an easy life, but it is what we know. The office is basically just a room in the house where we keep our papers and talk about the next season. We don't spend much on fancy stuff. We prefer being out in the dirt anyway. Trimbak has its own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. Sometimes the rains are too heavy, other times they don't come at all. That's just how farming works in this part of the country. We handle a lot of the local crops and try to help each other out when the harvest comes in. It gets really busy during certain months. Everyone in Kone knows where we are. We aren't trying to be some huge company. We just want to make sure our produce gets sold at a fair rate. Dealing with markets is usually the hardest part of the job. You have to watch the prices every day. We just keep our heads down and keep working. If you pass by house 266/1, you might see us sitting outside talking about rain or seeds.
