Being on a station means life follows a certain rhythm. It’s not like a regular business on a city street. Everything is a bit more structured, but inside our specific office, we try to keep it friendly. We deal with maintenance and other support tasks that keep the station running. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don’t spend all day behind a computer. There’s always something that needs fixing or checking on. The colony is a nice place to be, with a lot of families around. We know most of our neighbors. We aren't trying to sell anything to anyone. We just have our responsibilities and we stick to them. Sometimes the work is repetitive, but it’s important. We have our tea breaks where we talk about everything except work. It’s a good group of people here. The weather in Nasik is usually pretty decent, which makes the outdoor parts of the job easier. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the job done right. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. Most days are pretty quiet, but we stay busy with the small details that matter. It's just how we operate here.
