This particular office of ours is over on Nasik Road, right in the Manisha Ashanagar neighborhood. It is a pretty busy part of town, especially with the 422101 pin code area being so central to everything. We deal with various construction technology things, so the office usually has random samples of materials or big technical drawings lying around the place. It is not exactly the tidiest office you’ve ever seen, but we honestly know where everything is kept. The traffic on Nasik Road can be a total nightmare during the evening rush hour, so most of us try to get into work a bit early or stay a little later just to miss the worst of it. There is a nice, friendly vibe in Ashanagar, and it feels like a proper neighborhood where people know each other. We have a couple of small rooms where we sit and work through our various projects. It gets a little bit noisy sometimes with all the street sounds and horns, but you eventually get used to it after a week or so. We are definitely not a massive firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a small, dedicated group of us trying to make sure these construction projects go according to the plan. We usually take our afternoon breaks together and talk about anything except the work we are doing. The building itself is a bit older, which gives the place some character.
