Our office is over on Plot Number 26 in Trambak Nagar, right off Jai Bhavani Road on the Nasik Road side. It’s a decent-sized space where Sarang Joshi and the rest of us get through the daily accounting work. Nasik is a growing city, but our part of it still feels pretty grounded. We don’t put on airs here. The office is functional, with desks that have seen a lot of use and shelves full of thick binders. We handle everything from basic bookkeeping to the more complicated audit stuff that businesses need. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we’re good at. People from the neighborhood come to us because they know we’ll just give it to them straight. We don’t use a lot of jargon or try to sound more important than we are. Usually, there’s a stack of papers waiting to be processed and a phone that rings at odd hours. We just take it one task at a time. The air in Nasik is nice, and we usually keep the windows open when it’s not too dusty outside. It’s a practical environment. We make sure the local shops and individuals stay on the right side of the tax laws. It’s been our routine for years now. We just show up, do the math, and help people sort out their financial records without any unnecessary drama or polish.
