Currie Brown

This is Currie Brown over in Nasik. We are located at Flat No B 1 in the Shantimangali building. It is right on the corner of Pehte Nagar Road and the Mumbai-Agra Road. Being near the highway makes it easy for us to get around, though it can get pretty noisy with the heavy trucks passing by all night and day. The office is basically a converted flat, which makes it feel a bit more like home than a cold corporate space. We have got a small kitchen area and enough room for our computers and equipment. Nasik is a great place to work, much calmer than Mumbai but still has everything you need. We spend our days going over project details and managing costs. It is a lot of sitting at desks and looking at plans. The Shantimangali building is older, but it is solid. We know the security guard and the other tenants in the block. It is a very local feel. We don’t have a receptionist or a big waiting room for guests. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It is practical and keeps our overhead low. The weather in Nasik is usually nice, so we leave the windows open when it is not too dusty from the road. It is just a simple place where a few of us work together to get things done. No big corporate speeches here, just the daily grind and a bit of chat during our lunch hour.
