The lane is usually full of activity, especially early in the morning when everyone is starting their day. We started this company because farming in Malegaon has its own set of problems and we thought doing it together would be better than everyone going at it alone. We mostly deal with the stuff that comes out of the local fields and try to make sure the work doesn't go to waste. It isn't a corporate office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep our records and talk to the other farmers who come by. Nashik is known for its agriculture, but the small farmers in Dyane sometimes get left behind, so we just stick together. Some days are good and some days we just worry about the market prices. We don’t use a lot of big words or have complicated plans. We just look at what we have in the dirt and figure out how to sell it fairly. If you come by the Gali, you will see us working through the paperwork or checking on the latest load of produce. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for a while now.
