If you head down Tulsi Chem Road, you’ll see us right opposite the SBI Bank. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where the bank is in Dhokadwa Tehsil Lona. At Gurukrupa Steel, things are pretty straightforward. We have piles of metal and steel sections everywhere. It isn't a clean place; your hands will definitely get dirty if you start moving things around. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us by name. Most days, it’s just the sound of metal clanging and the truck arriving to drop off more stock. We don't have a big sales team or anyone wearing a suit. Usually, it’s just me or one of the guys in a t-shirt and jeans. We handle the orders as they come in. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the desk, but we find what we need eventually. People come from all over the Tehsil because we’ve been here so long. We don't use any of those modern computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in the big ledgers. It works for us. The rain sometimes hits the tin roof so loud we can't hear the phone, but we just wait it out. It’s a basic shop, nothing more, nothing less. We just focus on the steel and getting it to the people who need it. There isn't much to say other than we are here and we are working hard.
