Mahesh Bhaven is where you’ll find us, right in the CIDCO area of Nasik. It’s a mix of homes and small businesses, so there’s always people moving around. Atul Joshi and the rest of us keep things running from this little corner. It’s not a massive factory site, but it’s our base of operations for this region. Nasik has a nice climate, which makes the long days easier to handle. We’re usually juggling schedules and making sure the local deliveries are on time. The office is pretty simple—a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of scrap paper with notes on them. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes in, they just walk up to whoever is free. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking manifests. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the materials get to the construction sites without any delays. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical city issues, like traffic or power cuts, but we just work around it. There’s a good canteen nearby where we grab food, and that’s where most of the actual news gets shared. It’s a straightforward way of working. No one here is trying to impress anyone; we just want to get the orders right and head home to our families. It’s a decent living in a busy city that keeps us on our toes.
