Our office for the Godavari Khore Sahakari Dudh Sangh is located at 12 Nilkanthkrupa Society in Sneh Nagar. We are right on Dindori Road here in Nashik. Since we are a milk cooperative, a lot of our work involves coordinating with the producers and making sure things are moving as they should. The society where we are based is a quiet enough spot, which is nice for getting through the daily accounts and management tasks. Nashik has a lot of dairy activity, so being on Dindori Road puts us in a good position to stay connected with everything going on in the sector. We aren't some big corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s more of a community-focused setup where we handle the cooperative’s needs. Most of the people working here have been around for a while and know the local farmers and the routes pretty well. We spend our days looking over the collections and making sure the distribution side is handled. It’s steady work and it keeps us connected to the rural areas around Kopargaon and Nashik. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when there’s a lot of paperwork to sort through, but we make it work. It’s just a plain, functional space where we do the necessary work for the milk union. People know us in Sneh Nagar as the place that handles the dairy business. We don't do much in the way of marketing. We just focus on the milk.
