Girnakhore Farmers Producer Company Limited is based over in Wasuldeola, which is part of the Nashik district. Our address is 663 Wasuldeola, right in the Vasol area. It is a quiet place mostly, focused on the land. We started this because we realized that farmers around here needed to stick together to get anything done. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. It is just a group of us trying to manage the harvests and find decent buyers. Nashik is known for its agriculture, so there is always a lot of activity. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of moving produce. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days we are just sitting waiting for a truck to arrive. It is a bit unpredictable, but that is farming for you. We don't use big words or have a complicated hierarchy. If something needs fixing, one of us just goes and fixes it. The office is usually dusty because of the road, but we don't really care about that. We just want to make sure the work is honest and the people are treated right. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the fields, but we are used to it by now. We just take things as they come and try to do our bit. We keep some spare parts in the corner because you never know when something will need a quick fix before the day ends.
