Gavas Farm Products Producer Company Limited

Our small group is based at Kasarpimpalgaon in the Pathardi taluka. You can find us at the home of Kalavati Vasant Tupe in the Gawthan area. It’s a very traditional village setting, and that’s how we like it. We started this producer company because the farmers around here needed a way to process and sell their products without going through too many middlemen. We handle all sorts of farm products that come from the fields in and around Pathardi. Our "office" is really just a room where we keep our records and meet to discuss the business. It’s a community effort, and everyone in the village knows where we are. We don’t use any fancy management techniques; we just talk to each other and decide what needs to be done. Sometimes we are drying produce in the sun, and other times we are busy with the paperwork that comes with being a registered company. It can be a bit slow out here, but there is always something that needs fixing or someone who needs help with their harvest. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the farm products from Kasarpimpalgaon get a fair chance in the market. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually stained from the fields, but it’s what we know. If you’re ever in the Gawthan area, you’ll see us working away, just trying to keep the local farming tradition going.
