Foodcharm Agro Producer Company Limited is based in Kolhapur, at Plot No 41 in the Ganesh Co-Op Housing Society. We are located in R K Nagar, on R S No. 83. It’s an interesting spot because it’s a residential society, but we operate our agro producer company from here. This means we are very integrated into the community. We work with local farmers and help get their products to market. Our space is functional and basic. We have a small area for meetings and another for keeping records and some samples. Since we are in a housing society, we have to keep things relatively quiet and orderly, which suits us fine. The atmosphere in R K Nagar is generally calm, and we like it that way. Most of our work happens out in the fields or at the collection points, but this is our main hub. We don’t have any fancy signs or corporate branding on the walls. It’s just a place where we get the work done. We talk to the farmers, figure out the best way to handle the crops, and deal with the logistics of moving them. It feels more like a community project than a big company. We are just local people working with what the land provides. Sometimes the power cuts out or we have to wait for the rains to stop before we can move things, but we manage. It is a simple, honest way to make a living for all of us.
