We started Farm Plus Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to do something for the farmers around Shirwade. It's located at G.No.713 here in the village. Honestly, most of us grew up in these fields, so we know how tough it gets when the rain doesn't show up or when the market prices drop out of nowhere. We aren't big business people from the city or anything like that. We are just local folks trying to figure out how to get better seeds and maybe share some tools so everyone doesn't have to buy their own expensive stuff. The office is right there in the 422209 area. People stop by all the time just to talk about the crops or what’s happening with the soil this year. It’s not fancy. We have some basic desks and a lot of paperwork that never seems to end. Sometimes it feels like we’re just learning as we go, but that’s okay. We try to help each other out with the transport too because getting things to the market is a real headache for a single person. If you live nearby or have land in the area, you probably already know where we are. We just want to make sure the work we do on our farms actually pays off enough to keep the next generation interested in staying here instead of moving away to look for jobs in the factory.
