We are located at Mahadu Tavhare's place in Nirgudsar, which is part of Ambegaon. It is a quiet spot, mostly just fields and local folks working the land. We started Farm Core Agro because a few of us farmers wanted to figure out how to handle our crops better. Usually, you’re just out there in the heat, trying to get things to grow, and then you have to worry about where it all goes. This company is basically just us trying to work as a group. Sometimes the rain is good, sometimes it isn't, but that is how it goes here. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a room where we sit down and talk about what needs doing for the season. We spend a lot of time discussing seeds or how the soil is looking this year. People stop by when they have a minute after finishing their work in the fields. It gets dusty in the summer and the roads are a bit rough, but we are used to it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There is always something to fix or a tractor that won't start right.
