Down in Niphad, specifically in the Mukhed area of Nashik, is where we run Ever Fruit Exports. Nashik is known for its fruit, so it made sense to set up shop here at R 325. We mostly deal with getting fruit ready to be sent out. It’s a lot of sorting, packing, and making sure the crates are stacked right. It’s not a glamorous job. The warehouse can get pretty cold in the winter and really dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small crew from the local villages who help with the heavy lifting. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales pitch. We just take the fruit that comes in and try to get it to where it needs to go before it spoils. It’s a race against time most days. The roads around Mukhed aren't always the best, so transport is usually our biggest challenge. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers. It’s just how things are done here. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the fruit moving so it doesn't go to waste. It’s a straightforward business. If you come looking for us, just head towards the Niphad side.
