Dresden Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are situated in Sinnar, working out of Kalawati Punjaji Sangle’s place. It’s a local operation, mostly made up of farmers from around the Nashik district who wanted to pull their resources together. We deal with the everyday realities of life on the farm, like the price of fertilizer and the luck of the rain. There is no big corporate headquarters here, just a room where we meet up to discuss the next crop cycle. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know how stressful it can be when things don't grow right. Our company is really just a way for us to help each other out with the selling and buying parts of the job. It is a lot of manual work and dusty boots. We often sit around with a cup of chai and talk about the market rates or the new pests that are showing up in the fields. It isn't a very polished life, and our office reflects that. It is functional and that is about it. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing brochures. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group can get a fair shake for the hard work they put in all year round. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset every day of the week.
