If you go toward the Datta Mandir in Meshi, you’ll find where we run Diyant Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are based at Yogesh Chavan’s place in the Taluka of Deola. It’s a quiet spot, but we stay pretty busy with the work. Our focus is mainly on the farmers around the Malegaon area who need a way to get their produce to the right buyers. We aren't a big shop with a lot of employees. It is mostly just a few of us handling the accounts and making sure everyone gets their fair share after the harvest is sold. The area here is known for its hard-working people and we try to live up to that. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just farming and selling. Sometimes the markets are good and sometimes they are a headache, but having the company helps us stay organized. The address is 423102, right near the temple which makes it easy to find for anyone who lives around here. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors about what they are planting this year. It feels more like a community group than a formal business sometimes. We think that is the best way to handle things in a small place like Meshi.
