Dhanush Nakode Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located over in Kalwan, specifically in the Nakode area, and you can find us at house number 259 which belongs to Popatrao Gangurde. This is a real farmer's setup here in the Nashik district where a few of us decided to get together and form this producer company. Being farmers ourselves, we know how tough the work is and we spend most of our days out in the fields or talking to others in the village about the crops. The weather around Kalwan can be unpredictable sometimes but we just keep going. It is not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we manage our farming activities and try to make things a bit more organized for the group. There is always someone around the place if you drop by, usually busy with some paperwork or checking on the equipment we have stored. We started this because we wanted a way to handle our produce as a group rather than just one person at a time. It makes sense when you have many people in the same village growing similar things. Nashik is known for its agriculture and we are just a small part of that big picture here in Kalwan. Most of our meetings happen sitting around outside near the house where it is quiet. We don't have any big speeches to give, we just focus on the soil and what comes out of it every season. It is just us, a group of farmers trying to make a living together.
