Deshmukh Vineyards

Working the land here at Post Dindori has been our life for a while now. Our spot is right behind the Saptshringi Petrol Pump, which is always busy. Most days involve being out in the fields or checking on the vines. It is hard work, especially when the weather decides not to cooperate, but that is just how farming goes for us. People find us easily enough because of the petrol pump nearby, which leads them straight to Shop No. 17 at No. 662/1/2. There is no big office here or anything fancy like you see in the city. It is just a regular place where we get the daily tasks done. Sometimes the mud gets everywhere and the hours feel very long. My family helps out with most of it. We have watched the whole area change over the years. We grow what we can and try to keep things moving along. There isn't much more to say other than we spend a lot of time on the ground here. If you are passing through Dindori, you probably already know the main road well. The soil is good, mostly, though it takes a lot of water and care to keep everything green during the dry months. Taking it one day at a time is the only way to do it. Manual labor is part of it, and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We are just local people doing what we know.
