We are set up on M.G. Road, which is pretty much the heart of everything around here. Being on such a main street means there is never a dull moment. We spend a lot of our time surrounded by bottles of all shapes and sizes. It’s not just a shop; it’s more like a place where we try to understand what people like to drink. We aren't experts who use big, fancy words to describe wine. We just know what tastes good and what doesn't. Most days involve unpacking crates, dusting off the shelves, and talking to whoever walks through the door. M.G. Road is always noisy with cars and shoppers, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. We have a lot of regulars who come in just to see what new bottles we’ve put out on the racks. We don't have a massive staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when the weekend rush hits and everyone wants something different at the same time. We just do our best to help everyone find a bottle they’ll enjoy. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and moving boxes around in the back room. We don't make any grand claims about our mission. We are just here selling wine on a busy street and enjoying the conversations that come with it.
