Deola Pomegranate Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at G. No. 245 in Gunjal Nagartal, which is in the Deola area of Nashik district. As the name says, we focus a lot on pomegranates because that is what grows well in our soil here. We are just a collective of farmers who live and work in this part of Nashik. It’s a busy life, especially when the fruit is ripening and everything needs to happen at once. We don't spend much time in an office; we're usually out near the trees or at the site in Gunjal Nagartal. Setting this up was a way for us to have a bit more say in how our fruit gets to the market. Nashik is known for good produce, and we want to keep that going without making things too complicated. We talk about the weather, the price of fertilizer, and when to pick the fruit. It’s a simple operation run by people who have dirt under their fingernails and know the land. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the trees, and the work that needs doing every season. Sometimes things are good and sometimes the harvest is thin, but we just keep going together. Being in Deola means we are part of a big farming community, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and work.
