Daregaon Farmer Producer Company Limited is located out at Sr.No -74 in Kumbefal. It’s a pretty straightforward spot. We chose this location because it puts us right where the action is for the local agriculture. There’s not much else around us except for the fields and the road. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever the current crop is. Sometimes it’s grain, sometimes it’s something else. We aren’t fancy people and we don’t have a fancy office. It’s just a place to get the work done and store some things. The sun can be pretty brutal out here in Kumbefal, but we’re used to it by now. We started this because we saw a need for a group that actually understands what it’s like to farm in this specific soil. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. We just try to help move the produce and make sure things are fair for everyone involved. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes the numbers don't add up the first time, so we have to do them again. It’s just a regular local business run by local guys. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing who we are and seeing the work we do every day. The seasons change, but the work stays pretty much the same for us. We just keep our heads down and do the next thing.
