Daksh Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Deola, specifically near the D.G. Aher Complex on Kalwan Road. Dhananjay Anil Aher is who we have listed for the address, and that’s where we get together to talk shop. We are just a group of local farmers from the Deola region. It’s pretty straightforward why we started this. Individually, it’s hard to get anything done with the markets the way they are. We wanted a way for the farmers around here to join up so we aren't just at the mercy of whatever price is offered on a random Tuesday. There is no corporate office with people in suits here. It’s just us, usually in our work clothes, trying to figure out how to handle the logistics of our crops. The area around Kalwan Road is busy, and we are right in the thick of it. We deal with the same problems every other farmer has, like high costs for fertilizers and the struggle of transporting goods. Being a producer company just gives us a bit of a structure to work within. We keep it simple and focus on the day-to-day needs of our members. It’s about the people who work the soil here in Deola and making sure we can keep doing what we’ve always done without getting squeezed out by the bigger players. We just do the work.
