Bhawani Steel Traders

If you head down Dugaon Road in Girnara, you’ll find us near the Datta Mandir. Bhawani Steel Traders is basically a big yard full of metal. It’s heavy, noisy work, and we’re usually covered in a bit of rust or dust by the time lunch rolls around. Being near the temple gives the place a bit of a landmark, so people don’t usually get lost looking for us. We handle a lot of steel, moving it from one pile to another or loading it onto trucks that come through. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it tough to move the heavy stuff, but we manage. We don’t have a fancy office with leather chairs. Usually, we're sitting on a wooden bench or standing by the gate talking to customers. It’s a local business through and through. We know the people in Girnara and the contractors who come in from the surrounding areas. We don't use a lot of technology; most of our notes are kept on scraps of paper or in a simple notebook. The work is physical and can be exhausting, especially during the summer months. But there's something satisfying about seeing the stacks of steel move out and knowing they're going to build something real. We just keep things moving, one load at a time, day after day, and that’s plenty for us.
