Beejankur Shetkari Producer Company Limited is based out of the Sonak area, specifically at number 2 Sonak in Pimpalgaon Ambad. We are a small group of local farmers who decided it was better to work together than on our own. Our spot in Sonak is where we handle the day-to-day things like tracking the harvest and looking at the seed supplies. It’s a very rural area, and that’s how we like it. We aren't into big city offices or anything like that. Our workspace is pretty simple and reflects the way we live and work. Pimpalgaon Ambad is a place where farming is the main thing everyone does. So, we are always chatting with neighbors about the weather or how the crops are coming along. It’s not a formal business atmosphere at all. We might be sitting on a bench outside when you come by. We handle everything from getting the produce ready to making sure the paperwork for the company is done correctly. It can be a lot to manage sometimes, but we get through it. We are just local people who know the land and want to make sure the farming life stays viable for the next generation. It’s nothing fancy, just hard work and a bit of cooperation between friends and neighbors. We don't have much to show in terms of decor, but we have plenty of stories about the fields. We just keep our heads down and work in Sonak.
