Basile Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Flat 3 in the Rajhans Society over in Adgaon. Nashik is a busy place for farming, and we are right in the middle of it. We aren't a big shop, just a group of farmers working out of a small space in Wing A. It’s mostly about getting our produce to the right people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the markets. Farming in Adgaon has changed a lot over the years. We started this company to try and keep up with everything. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the coordination is a bit tricky, but we manage. We aren't corporate people. We are more comfortable in the dirt than in an office chair. But we need this company to help with the business side of things. We handle the supplies and the sales for our members. Most of us live nearby. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just find us working on the accounts or planning the next load. It’s a practical setup. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually pays off. Nashik is a good place for this kind of thing because there are so many other farmers around. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not always pretty, but it’s our livelihood and we take it seriously.
