Baleeraja Shetkari Producer Company Limited operates out of Borgaon village in the Malegaon taluka. You can find us at Shri Mahadeo Mansaram Landkar’s house, which serves as our main contact point. Malegaon is a busy region, but Borgaon is a bit more tucked away. We are a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together recently. It wasn't an easy decision because everyone has their own way of doing things, but we realized we were stronger if we worked together as a company. Our office is just a part of Mahadeo’s home where we keep the registers and the computer. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch talking to farmers who come by to ask about the latest government schemes or to report their crop status. The roads out here aren't the best, so getting supplies in and out can be a bit of a struggle when it rains. We don't use any fancy talk or have a marketing team. We just know what it’s like to work the land and we want to make sure the work pays off in the end. Sometimes the paperwork feels like it’s too much for a few farmers to handle, but we take it one day at a time. It’s about being practical and helping each other out in the village without any corporate nonsense.
