Anandwati Foundary

Anandwati Foundary is over at Plot No. 223/2 in the 2nd Phase. We’re right near Ravi Transport and not too far from the Morarji Circle. The foundry is a hot place to work, especially in the summer months when the air just sits still. We’ve got the furnaces and the molds going most of the day. It’s a gritty job, and you won’t find anyone here wearing a tie. We’re usually covered in sand or soot by lunch. Being near Morarji Circle is handy for the trucks coming in and out. We see the Ravi Transport guys all the time. It’s a busy corner of the industrial estate. We don't bother with fancy talk. We just cast the parts as they are ordered and try to make sure the work comes out right. The equipment we use has been with us a long time, and we know all its quirks. Sometimes a pour doesn't go right, and we have to start over. That's just part of the foundry life. We don't have a big front office. Most of the business happens right on the floor where the work is. It’s a tight-knit group here. We’ve been at Plot 223/2 for years, and we know the rhythms of the 2nd Phase. When the shift ends, we’re all pretty tired, but the work is done.
