Aai Chirai Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Aai Chirai Farmers Producer Company Limited, operates out of Jagannath Rajaram Shewale’s place in Chaugaon. We are located in the Baglan Taluka within Nashik district. If you know this area at all, you know it’s mostly about the fields and the weather. A few of us got together because doing every single thing alone was getting too difficult and expensive. We use Jagannath’s house as our main point of contact for the company work. It’s a very local, simple setup. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings in expensive hotels. We just sit together on the porch and talk about things like seeds, fertilizers, and where the market might be heading next month. Nashik is famous for its agriculture, and here in Baglan, we try to do our part. The name Aai Chirai means something special to us locally. We are just simple people. Our days start very early and end when the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay up late finishing the books for the company because that side of things is still pretty new to us. We are learning as we go. It’s about making sure the farmers in Chaugaon get a bit more control over their own work. We don't have any big corporate goals, just steady farming and helping our neighbors out when we can. It is a long process but it is our process.
