Our company is called Kai.Shankarrao Baradkar Agro Producer Company Limited. We are located in Barad, which is in the Nanded district. You can find us at C/O.Shri Shankarrao Rajarambarad. This business was set up by local farmers who wanted to work together instead of working separately. We focus on the agricultural needs of our community here in Barad. It’s a small place and we all know each other. The office is a basic room where we keep our records and meet to discuss the season. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big staff. It's mostly just us, the people who actually work the land. We wanted to name the company after someone who meant something to this area. Farming isn’t always easy, and there are plenty of days when things don’t go as planned. But having this company helps us share the load. We handle the buying and selling of produce and try to get a better price for everyone involved. Most of our days are spent checking on the crops or talking to other farmers in Nanded. We are just practical people doing what we’ve always done, just now we have a formal name for it. If you come through Barad, you can ask for us. We’re usually around, either at the office or out in the fields somewhere, just doing the work that needs to be done.
