Swamy Vivekanandha College Of Pharmacy

Our college is situated in Elayampalayam, which is in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu. We focus on pharmacy education, so you will often see students walking around in their white lab coats. The campus isn't overly modern, but it has everything needed for the labs and lectures. We have several laboratories where students spend hours measuring out liquids and testing different formulas. The equipment is a bit aged but it still works perfectly for what we need. The library is a quiet place where students go to cram for their exams, and it’s usually quite full. Erode is known for its heat, so we have plenty of fans in the classrooms, though it still gets a bit warm in the afternoons. Most of the staff have been here for a long time and they know the syllabus inside out. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy brochures to attract people. Most of our students come because their brothers or sisters studied here before them. We have a small canteen on the grounds that serves simple meals and tea, which is where everyone gathers during the breaks. It’s a very practical environment without any of the corporate polish you might find in bigger cities. We just focus on the pharmacy course and making sure the students are prepared for their future jobs. It's a steady, daily routine for all of us here.
