Kasthooribha Gandhi College Of Education

Our college is situated right along NH-7 in Masakkalipatti, which is part of the Rasipuram area in Namakkal. Being near the highway means there's always a bit of noise from the trucks moving towards Salem or down south, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Kasthooribha Gandhi College Of Education is where we train people who want to become teachers. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don't have marble floors or fancy cafeterias. We have desks, blackboards, and a lot of books. The students here are often the first in their families to go into professional training, so they take it pretty seriously. We spend our days going through lesson plans and talking about how to manage a classroom full of rowdy kids. The Tamil Nadu heat can be tough in the afternoons, but the building stays relatively cool. We usually have tea together in the staff room, discussing how the day went. It’s a very practical environment. There isn't any marketing team here writing shiny slogans. We just open the gates in the morning and do our jobs. Most of us live nearby in Namakkal or Rasipuram, so the commute isn't too bad unless the highway is blocked. It’s a place for hard work and learning the basics of how to teach others. It’s just a regular college doing its bit for the folks who live in this part of the state and want to help the next generation.
