Zilla Parishad High School

Zilla Parishad High School is sitting right in Ramachandrapur, over in the Veerannapet area. It’s one of those government-run schools that has been a staple of the community for as long as anyone can remember. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or fancy extras. It’s just a sturdy building with high ceilings and plenty of windows to catch the breeze. Ramachandrapur is a quiet enough place, but the school gets lively once the students show up. We have a lot of kids from the surrounding Veerannapet neighborhood. You can hear them from a block away when it’s recess time. The grounds are mostly dirt and some grass, and things can get a bit muddy when the rains come through. We just carry on. It’s a practical place. We focus on the lessons and making sure everyone has a seat. Sometimes the furniture is a bit old, but it works. Being a high school, we see the kids grow up quite a bit before they move on. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we don’t make a big deal out of it. We’re just here to do our jobs in this corner of Ramachandrapur. It’s a familiar sight for anyone living around here, just the local school doing its thing year after year. That is just how we like it.
